The Skunk Cleaner Shrimp is one of the most popular and beneficial invertebrates in the marine aquarium hobby. Instantly recognizable by its bright red body, bold white dorsal stripe, and long white antennae, this eye-catching shrimp adds constant activity and personality to any reef tank.

Famous for its natural cleaning behavior, the Skunk Cleaner Shrimp will often establish a “cleaning station,” where fish voluntarily visit to have parasites, dead tissue, and debris removed. While this behavior is fascinating to watch, these shrimp also serve as excellent scavengers, helping consume leftover food and contributing to a cleaner aquarium.

Completely reef safe and peaceful, Skunk Cleaner Shrimp are ideal for community reef aquariums and can often be kept singly, in pairs, or small groups. They thrive in stable water conditions and readily accept a variety of frozen and prepared foods.
