Red striped cardinals

The Red Striped Cardinalfish is a peaceful and eye-catching reef fish, featuring brilliant red and silver horizontal stripes that shimmer beautifully under aquarium lighting. Its bold pattern and calm demeanor make it an excellent addition to both reef and fish-only aquariums, where it adds subtle movement and vibrant color without disturbing other tank inhabitants.

These social fish do best when kept in small groups, where they naturally school together and display more confident behavior. During the day they often hover beneath rock overhangs or among branching corals, becoming more active at feeding time and after the lights dim.

Red Striped Cardinalfish are reef safe, hardy, and readily accept frozen and prepared foods, making them a fantastic choice for hobbyists of all experience levels.
