The Quoyi Parrotfish is a stunning and highly active marine fish prized for its brilliant blend of pink, turquoise, green, and purple coloration. As it matures, its vibrant colors intensify, making it one of the most eye-catching additions to a large marine aquarium. Constantly on the move, the Quoyi Parrotfish spends its day grazing on algae and biofilm, helping keep rockwork clean while adding endless activity to the tank.

Despite its impressive size, the Quoyi Parrotfish is generally peaceful and coexists well with other non-aggressive tank mates. It thrives in spacious aquariums with abundant live rock and open swimming areas. While considered reef safe with corals, it may occasionally nip at certain soft corals or invertebrates while grazing, so it is best suited for experienced hobbyists with larger systems.
